"Kalki 2898 AD" is a epic science fiction action film written and directed by Nag Ashwin.
Inspired by Hindu scriptures, the film is set in a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2898 AD plagued by sin, iniquity, and cataclysm. Kalki, a modern-day avatar of Lord Vishnu, is awakened with the invocation of Ashwatthama. Kalki's mission is to protect the world from the evil forces of Kaali, his nemesis, using advanced technology, armor, and weaponry.
The film stars Prabhas in the titular role alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.
